    Tokyo is the capital of Japan and also the largest city of the country. Tokyo has been described as one of three command centers in the world, along with London and New York. Except for being the largest metropolitan economy in the world, it has rise from the ashes of earthquakes and destruction from World War two.

    Once you are there, you will never get bored in Tokyo. There is always something to see in Tokyo except for the billboards on everything streets and hustle and bustle of people will never make you feel lonely.

    Never judge a book by it cover; which applies to the urbanized building of Tokyo as out the modern style building still the traditional cultural of Tokyo is still alive.

    Ropponji Hills

    This place is created with the vision of creating a city within a city. Here you will find everything; Japanese garden to wonder off, Movie Theater, which shows blockbusters, well waters and you can eat and shop from one of the two hundred restaurants and shops. At night you can’t miss the best view of the city.

    Tokyo tower

    The Tokyo tower looks like Eiffel tower in France but it is also made for the technological purpose which makes it real Japanese style. The purpose of the tower serves as television and radio antenna. Under the legs of the tower is made four storey foot town, inside the foot town you will find shops, restaurants, wax museums, Guinness World Record Museum, an Aquarian and mysterious walking zone which makes spooky noises and made to scare people. At night the tower lightens up by the lights which are stunning.

    Meiji jingu

    Meiji Jingu is a shrine worth stopping. It’s an honor to the emperor Meiji and his wife. It is located in the 175acre of land which is a forest. In the inner Naien, there is a museum which has articles from emperor and the empress. Previously public meetings were held in here but now Shinto wedding are held. If you visit this place and got to see Shinto wedding then you are one of the lucky person.

    Children won’t feel bore going to place. It’s actually a copy model of Disneyland in California and unites states.

    Senso-ji Temple

    It’s the oldest temple of the city. The temple was founded in 628 AD and is of goddess of Mercy. There is a story behind this temple that goes long back, there were two brothers who were fishing in a river, they netted a golden image, goddess of mercy, and were inspired to protect her in the temple. Since then no one has seen the statuette even though many pilgrims come here in seeking the favor of the goddess.

    Kabuki-za

    Kabuki is theater which can be seen all over the city but Kabuki-za is a name implies a principle venue for such performance and is also a hub for art form. It’s unique because it is a traditional structure of Japanese but built with western materials. It is scheduled to be demolished in May 2010.

    There are many other things to see and experience. As Tokyo is metropolitan city there are many night clubs and pubs you can visit. Tokyo wont let you down when you need to party in night. Tokyo in night just glitters and every street fills with neon lights.

    Do not come summer and winter as the climate is extremes in Tokyo. Best time come and visit would be milder seasons like spring and autumn i.e. September to November.

    Transportation

    To the east of central Tokyo is Narita Airport which is sixty-six kilometers away and is a main gateway to Tokyo. The airport handles international and domestic flights.

    Japan has a huge railway network and to travel by train is always a dream of any tourist.

    Shinkansen is one the trains any tourist would prefer to travel on as it is clean, fast and punctual.
